Secure Google Notifier
If you’ve ever been on a Public Hotspot you’ve probably made sure not to visit anything too personal without making sure it’s secure. If you’re running Google Notifier then if you’re clever you’ve probably closed it, unfortunately some forget.
Here’s how to make Google Notifier check for mail securely every time.
Pull down the Notifier menu. Hold down Command and Option, and click Preferences on the menu. You’ll see a hidden settings editor. Enter SecureAlways in the Key field and 1 in the Value field, then click Set. Quit Notifier and start it up again.
