Save Quicktime trailers without a Pro License

First you need to go to the HD Trailer page you want to download from, for example Apple - Trailers - Breach- HD. Then you need to:

1. View Source
2. Search for 480p, 720p or 1080p
3. You’ll find something close to this:

QT_WriteOBJECT_XHTML(http://movies.apple.com/trailers/images/hd_btn2_720p.mov, 67?, 24?, , bgcolor, FFFFFF, controller, false, href, http://images.apple.com/movies/universal/breach/breach-tlr1_720p.mov, target, QuickTimePlayer)

The first URL is just the image of the button, the second is the one you’ll need to download.

4. Take the 2nd URL and add a h between the _ and resolution.

http://images.apple.com/movies/universal/breach/breach-tlr1_720p.mov
To:http://images.apple.com/movies/universal/breach/breach-tlr1_h720p.mov

That’s it! You’re done. Simply enter that URL into your browser and download the trailer to your harddrive. Or of course you could just buy a Quicktime Pro license.
