Orbicule Undercover & Little Snitch? Read this!
Just a little heads up for anyone who’s using both Orbicule’s Undercover and Little Snitch. When you first install Little Snitch, or Undercover, depending on what you install after you’ll notice a dialog asking to allow ‘uc’ make sure you accept that.
Unfortunately there’s also another app you need to allow which i’m guessing allows iSight to take pictures and send them to Orbicule. Now when I installed Little Snitch I certainly didn’t get any alert regarding ‘eyesighter.app’. So make sure you do the following!
- Choose Go To Folder from the Finder’s Go menu
- Enter the following path: /etc/uc.app/Contents/Resources
- Launch the Eyesighter app in this folder
- You should now see a LS warning
- Allow for all servers and all ports
