Great apps: Little Snitch, Sticky Windows
I’ve discovered a great little app called Little Snitch. It runs in the background and you can configure it through System Preferences. It’s basically a firewall for Applications and stops any unwanted programs sending information back home, as well as giving you the peace of mind knowing what programs are sending data where and when. It’s $24.95 for 1 license but it’s worth it in the long run.
Another awesome app is something called Sticky Windows. The video on the linked page explains what it can do but basically it allows you to drag and window to the edge of the screen and it minimises it down to a tab, clearing up space and making less clutter. A really useful program.
