Full Screen Quicktime for free

As you’ll know if you’re yet to purchase Quicktime Pro you can’t go into full screen mode which is really frustrating. techpwn.com have found a way to get Quicktime into full screen without having to purchase a Pro license. Here’s How:

Download this and run it when you want the file you’re watching full screen.

OR, if you fancy doing it manually.

1. Launch Script Editor
2. Enter this exactly as follows…
tell application “QuickTime Player”
present front movie scale screen
end tell

3. Save the script as an application (I save it as “full screen” and just keep it on my desktop).
4. Open the movie you want to view in full screen in Quicktime and then double-click on the apple script application you created.
5. Enjoy!
