Turn your mac off using email

Forgot to turn off your mac?
Here’s a very useful solution to that problem. I tend to realise that not all
applications have the ”Shutdown when complete” feature so this may well be a solution.

Speed up Mail.app

1. Quit Mail.
2. Open Terminal.
